EDENTON -- Mark your calendars! Our semi-annual Litter Clean Sweep Day will take place on April 20 from 9 AM to 11 AM!
The Mayor's Task Force on Litter, Recycling & the Environment is planning for this date simply to be in coordination with Chowan Litter Control, which plans to clean our highway interchanges -- via their Interchange Angels Program -- prior to Easels in the Garden during this timeframe.
"We are excited to clean our streets together once again in this wonderful community building event," said Tyler Newman, Public Information Officer. "There is no registration fee, no requirement to join, anyone can come. We look forward to seeing our residents out there!"
Meet behind the high school in the Oakum Street parking lots. We will have equipment for you to use! This is a chace for our residents to get out and improve their community -- since litter is such a hot topic these days.
